Visits to the UDDGP site

Geothermal Engineering Ltd (GEL) is offering site visits to educational institutions, businesses and other groups for the duration of the project. There will be regular drop-in sessions that will be open to the public; these will be advertised on the project website, gate B at the project site, as well as on local parish council websites and notice boards and in local amenities.

Drop-In Sessions

Drop-in sessions will be a chance for you to talk to members of the project team, browse the information panels, watch educational and project films as well as being able to walk over onto the site to see the wellheads. The table below is updated regularly with the upcoming dates and times for public drop-ins; please see How to visit the site for more information.

The Innovarig is no longer on site, but we will carry on having Drop-in sessions for the duration of the project, check this page regularly for additional dates.

Group Visits

Group visits are for 10 - 40 people, groups of under 40 will not be guaranteed an exclusive visit unless it is a school group (See Education for more information on school visits). Several small groups may be booked in at the same time.

The group visit includes a short presentation from one of the UDDGP team, a film about the project and a chance to browse the information panels and walk over to the see the wellheads on the site.

If you would like to book a group visit, please contact us via e-mail or call our Community Relations Manager on 01326 218955.
